Being faced with two weeks to prepare for a cross-country move; my fifth, I was told by the moving company that I was forced to use by my firm, there would be no way that they could provide me with anyone to pack my belongings for me in the allotted time. Being in a three bedroom home, I knew that I was going to need help since taking time off from work was not an option and I had seen the Point2Point trucks around the Houston area so I pulled up their website and made the call knowing that it could be a long shot. John Shaeffer, who just happens to be the owner of the company answered the phone and once I had explained my situation, assured me that he could have one of his best packers at my home the very next morning to start the process. Not only did she arrive early, but John himself delivered all of the packing materials himself. I couldn't believe it; the most incredible customer service I had ever seen. John did a walk through of the house to get an idea of what we would need and the packer told me that she would stay for the day as long as I needed her. My other concern was that since I was using an outside source to pack, I wasn't going to be insured as if the actual moving company had done the packing so it was critical that things were packed very well and we discussed this. It took almost three days to get everything packed, but I have never been happier with how things were handled. John did a final inventory of materials that were not used and we did the billing over the phone. The most incredible part of the story was that after I had unpacked everything, I had more damage done from the moving company than from any of the items that Point2Point packed. Yes, there were a couple of small items broken, but nothing major. The other thing that they did was pack all pieces together of an item so that as you unpacked, you didn't have to search other boxes to put things together. John has my phone numbers should anyone wish to speak with me and I will be happy to relay my trust and total satisfaction with him and his firm. John, I wish you nothing but success.
